Falcons Rule in Wenatchee

Posted on 21 March 2010 by admin

The Falcons had a huge day at the Ray Cockrum Relays in Wenatchee. Nearly every event was a high-light, we saw lots of PRs and outstanding results in the competition.

Here are a few key highlights:

  • Maxx Forde, Erik Riener, Jacob Hollister won the Boy’s Shot put Relay led by Forde’s 52′ 8.5″ throw, the longest of the day by nearly 7 feet!
  • Anthony Nguyen, 1st place in the 100m, 2nd place finish in the 200m (just .01s slower than the winning time!) and 43′ 5.75″ triple jump that was the longest of the day and a new school record!
  • McKenzie Luth won a close 200m with a time of 25.77 just .03s off the 26 year old school record.
  • Taylor Spitzer, Desiree Johnson, Reagan Quigley, April Dick champions in the girls 4×100m relay
  • Curtis Flolid, and Ali Forde were individual winners of the of the boys pole vault and girls high jump although they competed without a full relay.
  • Alina Muller and Haley Lavarias finished first and second overall in the girls pole vault and with Colette Myers won the girls pole vault relay.
  • In a race that they’ve been anticipating since last years near miss of the meet record, Desiree Johnson, April Dick, Reagan Quigley and McKenzie Luth won the girls 4×300m relay crushing the meet previous meet record by 8 seconds!
